- FRONT NECKLINE FACING – 1 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the BACK and FRONT NECKLINE FACINGS and SLEEVE FACINGS.
- Stitch the upper edges of the SLEEVES. Press the upper SLEEVE seams towards the BACK PANEL and overcast.
- Stitch the side edges and lower SLEEVE edges in one continuous seam, placing the pieces right sides together.
- Stitch the shoulder edges of the neckline FACINGS. Press seams open. Place the right side of the FACINGS with the wrong side of the blouse and stitch the neckline. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCE at curves, turn the FACING to the right side, fold under the lower SEAM ALLOWANCE, and topstitch the FACING to the blouson with a 0.1 cm seam.
- Stitch the edges of the SLEEVE FACINGS. Press seams open. Place the right side of the FACINGS with the wrong side of the SLEEVES and stitch the bottom of the SLEEVES. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCE at curves, turn the FACINGS to the right side, fold under the lower SEAM ALLOWANCE, and topstitch the FACINGS to the SLEEVES with a 0.1 cm seam.
- Clip the lower edge of the blouse at the NOTCHES. Overcast the section between the marks. Fold the overcast edge to the wrong side and place elastic underneath it. Stretch the elastic and topstitch with a zigzag stitch, leaving 1 cm at each end.
- Place the waistband pieces right sides together and stitch along three sides: from the NOTCH to the side edge, the side edge, and the bottom edge. Turn the waistband right side out and press.
- Attach the outer waistband piece to the lower edge of the blouse, catching the end of the elastic in the seam. Fold under the raw SEAM ALLOWANCE and topstitch into the waistband attachment seam.
