- 1. Upper FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- 2. BACK PANEL – 2 QTY

- 5. FRONT PANEL Insert – 2 QTY
- 6. BACK PANEL Insert – 2 QTY
- 7. Lower BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
- 8. Lower FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL FACING.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL FACING.
- Mark and stitch darts on the upper FRONT PANEL, press darts towards the center of the FRONT PANEL.
- Attach the FRONT PANEL insert to the upper FRONT PANEL. Overcast the seam and press it towards the insert.
- Attach the BACK PANEL insert to the upper BACK PANEL. Overcast the seam and press it towards the BACK PANEL insert.
- Attach the FRONT PANEL FACING to the upper FRONT PANEL. Press the seam towards the FACING.
- Attach the BACK PANEL FACING to the upper BACK PANEL. Press the seam towards the BACK PANEL FACING.
- Overcast the center back seam of the BACK PANEL, stitch and press open.
- Overcast and topstitch the armhole edges of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL.
- Overcast the shoulder edges of the top. Stitch and press open the shoulder seams of the top. Stitch 1 cm from the shoulder seam (stitches run on both sides of the seam).
- Cut TRIM STRIPS from the main fabric for the ties. Fold the tie lengthwise in half, right sides together, align the edges and stitch 0.5-0.7 cm from the edges. Then turn out, straighten the seam, positioning it on the fold, and press.
- Thread the ties through the shoulder seams.
- Stitch and press open the center seam of the inner neckline FACING of the BACK PANEL. Stitch and press open the shoulder edges of the inner FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL FACINGS. Overcast the outer edge of the FACINGS. Place the inner and outer FACINGS right sides together, aligning the shoulder seams, and stitch. Topstitch the stitching seam onto the inner FACING 0.2 cm from the seam. Topstitch the overcast edge of the FACING into the seam of attaching the outer FACING.
- Along the upper edge of the lower BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL, stitch 0.5 cm from the edge with loosely tensioned stitches. Gather the upper edge of the piece to match the length of the lower edge of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL insert, distributing the gathers evenly along the entire length.
- Attach the lower BACK PANEL to the BACK PANEL insert. Overcast the seam and press it towards the insert.
- Attach the lower FRONT PANEL to the FRONT PANEL insert so that the FRONT PANELS are butt-joined. Overcast the seam and press it towards the insert.
- Stitch and overcast the side seams of the top. Press the side seams towards the BACK PANEL.
- Overcast the bottom edge of the top, fold up and topstitch.
- Mark and punch eyelets on the FRONT PANEL. Thread the cord through the eyelets.
