Collared Long Sleeve Button-Front Tunic

CUTTER'S MUST

• From main fabric:
• 1. BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
• 2. FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
• 3. COLLAR – 2 QTY
• 4. Stand – 2 QTY
• 5. CUFF – 2 QTY
• 6. SLEEVE – 2 QTY
• 7. FACING – 2 QTY
• FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: FACING, upper COLLAR, stand, CUFF.

Sewing Instructions

1. Reinforce the FACING, upper COLLAR, stand, and CUFF with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
2. Mark and stitch darts on the FRONT PANEL. Mark and stitch shoulder darts on the BACK PANEL. Mark and stitch waist darts on the BACK PANEL. Press darts towards the center.
3. Overlock the inner edge of the FACING.
4. Face the edges with FACINGS, trim excess fabric at the corners, and turn the FACINGS out. Press the edges.
5. Stitch shoulder and side SEAM ALLOWANCES. Overlock shoulder and side seams. Press shoulder and side seams towards the BACK PANEL. Secure the FACINGS to the shoulder seams with a 1 cm tack.
6. Overlock SLEEVE edges separately. Stitch the SLEEVE seam up to the NOTCH. Press the SLEEVE seam open. Press the slit and topstitch at a distance of 0.5 cm.
7. Set in the SLEEVES, easing the cap.
8. Face the lower COLLAR with the upper COLLAR, turn the COLLAR out. Press the COLLAR.
9. Stitch the stands, inserting the COLLAR between them. Press the stand.
10. Set the lower stand with the COLLAR into the neckline, turn under the open edge of the upper stand, and topstitch into the seam of the lower stand attachment.
11. Face the side edges of the CUFF and turn it out. Press the CUFF in its finished state.
12. Attach the upper CUFF to the lower edge of the SLEEVE, and turn under and topstitch the lower CUFF. Mark and overlock buttonholes on the CUFF. Sew on buttons.
13. Overlock, hem, and topstitch the bottom of the garment.
14. On the right FRONT PANEL, overlock buttonholes, and on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on buttons.
