Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse the BACK FACING, right and left FRONT FACINGS, and fly shield with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
  2. Mark and stitch darts on the FRONT PANEL. Stitch the side edges of the front and back FACINGS. Press open the side seams of the FACINGS.
  3. Mark and stitch darts on the BACK PANEL.
  4. Place the large pocket LINING on the FRONT PANEL of the trousers, right sides together, and stitch around the pocket opening. Topstitch the seam allowance 0.2 cm onto the front pocket LINING and press. Attach the small pocket LINING to the side part of the FRONT PANEL and serge. Align the FRONT PANEL of the trousers with the marking on the side part of the FRONT PANEL, which defines the pocket opening. Secure the side FRONT PANEL to the FRONT PANEL of the trousers along the upper and side edges with a 1 cm seam. Stitch and serge the pocket LINING.
  5. Serge the side edge of the back and FRONT PANEL, the inseam edges of the front and back PANEL, and the front and center edges of the trouser halves. Stitch the side edges of the front and back PANEL. Press open the side seams.
  6. Stitch and press open the inseams. Stitch the front edge and the center edge up to the NOTCH for the ZIPPER. Stitch a second seam along the seat seam next to the stitching of the front and center seam.
  7. Press the integrated ZIPPER FACINGS to the wrong side. Attach the ZIPPER under the edge of the ZIPPER allowance (left side) to the edge. Attach the free ZIPPER tape to the right half to the integrated FACING. Fold the fly shield in half lengthwise and stitch the short bottom edge. Topstitch the integrated ZIPPER FACING onto the fly shield on the left trouser half. Topstitch the right edge of the opening, catching the FACING.
  8. Fold the FACING pieces right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Topstitch the stitching seam onto the lower FACING at a distance of 0.2 cm from the stitching seam, stopping 3 cm before the end. Turn the yokes right side out and press.
  9. Fold the belt loop lengthwise in half, right side in, align the edges, and stitch at a distance of 0.5-0.7 cm from the edges. Then turn out, straighten the seam, positioning it on the fold or forming a 0.1-0.2 cm wide piping on the inside, and press.
  10. Serge the outer edge of the lower FACINGS. Cut the belt loops to size, mark the position of the belt loops. Attach the belt loops to the lower edge of the FACINGS. Attach the FACINGS to the upper edge of the trousers, aligning the side seams. Stitch the corners of the FACINGS. Trim the SEAM ALLOWANCES at the corners, turn out, and press. Topstitch the serged edge of the FACING into the attachment seam.
  11. Serge the hem allowance and press to the wrong side. Topstitch the allowance to the trousers. Serge buttonholes on the right FACING and sew buttons on the left.
