CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 2. FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 3. Back part of belt – 4 QTY
  • 4. Front part of belt left – 2 QTY
  • 5. Front part of belt right – 2 QTY
  • 6. COLLAR – 2 QTY
  • 7. SLEEVE – 2 QTY
  • FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: lower collar, front right part of belt, front left part of belt, back part of belt.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to: lower collar, front right part of belt, front left part of belt, back part of belt.
  2. Place the upper collar and lower collar right sides together and stitch the lower collar to the upper collar. Trim, turn out the collar corners.
  3. Stitch the waist and bust darts on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Press the bust darts downwards. Press the waist darts on the BACK PANEL towards the center back, and the waist darts on the FRONT PANEL towards the center front.
  4. Overlock the center edge on the FRONT PANEL and stitch up to the NOTCH for the ZIPPER, press the seam open, press the ZIPPER openings. Attach the ZIPPER 0.5 cm from the edge. Stitch the center back seam, overlock the seam and press it towards the right BACK PANEL.
  5. Fold the belt loop lengthwise in half, right sides together, align the edges, and stitch 0.5-0.7 cm from the edges. Then turn out, straighten the seam, positioning it on the fold, or create a piping on the inside 0.1-0.2 cm wide and press. Mark the placement for attaching the belt loops and topstitch them.
  6. Stitch the side and shoulder edges. Overlock the shoulder and side seams. Press the seams towards the BACK PANEL.
  7. Attach the lower collar into the neckline, turn under the raw edge of the upper collar and topstitch into the seam of the lower collar attachment.
  8. Overlock the lower edge of the SLEEVE and the hem of the dress. Stitch the SLEEVE edge and overlock. Press the seam towards the BACK PANEL.
  9. Set the SLEEVE into the armhole according to the NOTCHES. Overlock the setting seam.
  10. Fold and press the hem of the SLEEVES and the hem of the dress. Hand stitch the hem of the dress and SLEEVES with a blind stitch.
  11. Stitch the center seam of the back part of the belt. Stitch the side edges of the back part of the belt and the left front part of the belt. Stitch the side edges of the back part of the belt and the right front part of the belt. Press the center and side seams open.
  12. Place the belt right sides together and stitch on three sides, leaving the center edge of the front right part of the belt free. Turn out and press the belt. Topstitch along the contour 0.5 cm from the edge. Mark and punch eyelets on the belt. Thread the buckle through the belt and sew it on.
