- COLLAR Stand - 2 QTY
- BACK PANEL Center - 2 QTY
- FRONT PANEL Center - 1 QTY
- FRONT PANEL Side - 2 QTY
- BACK PANEL Side - 2 QTY
- FACING - 1 QTY
- SLEEVE - 2 QTY
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: lower collar stand, FACING.
Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce the lower collar stand and FACING with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
- Place the FRONT PANEL and FACING right sides together. Stitch the 'teardrop' opening along the marked line. Cut out the 'teardrop' along the marked line, leaving a SEAM ALLOWANCE of 0.3 cm. Turn the FACING to the wrong side and press. Overlock the raw edge of the FACING.
- Attach the BACK PANEL Side to the BACK PANEL Center. Overlock the seam and press towards the center.
- Stitch the center back seam. Overlock the seam and press.
- Attach the FRONT PANEL Side to the FRONT PANEL Center. Overlock the seams and press towards the center.
- Stitch the left side seam, leaving an opening for the ZIPPER. Overlock the seam and press open. Insert the invisible ZIPPER into the left side seam.
- Stitch the right side seam. Overlock the seam and press open.
- Stitch and overlock the shoulder seams of the dress. Press the shoulder seams towards the BACK PANEL.
- Press the lower edge of the COLLAR stand by 1cm. Stitch the COLLAR stands along the outer contour. Trim the SEAM ALLOWANCES at the rounded ends of the COLLAR stand, turn the COLLAR stand out and press. Attach the COLLAR stand to the neckline, and topstitch the pressed edge of the COLLAR stand into the seam of the lower COLLAR stand attachment. Topstitch along the COLLAR stand.
- Press the SLEEVE hem. Stitch the SLEEVE. Topstitch the SLEEVE hem.
- Attach the SLEEVE to the armhole. Overlock the attachment seam and press towards the armhole.
- Fold and topstitch the garment hem.
- Sew a decorative loop and buttons to the edge of the teardrop opening.
