  • FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: FACING, lower COLLAR; hem allowances: center BACK PANEL, side BACK PANEL, lower SLEEVE, side FRONT PANEL, upper SLEEVE.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse the FACING, lower COLLAR; hem allowances: center BACK PANEL, side FRONT PANEL, side BACK PANEL, lower SLEEVE, upper SLEEVE.
  2. Place the upper COLLAR and lower COLLAR right sides together and stitch the lower COLLAR to the upper COLLAR. Trim, turn out the COLLAR corners.
  3. Stitch the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL darts. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the dart seams of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL.
  4. Attach the yokes to the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the yoke attachment seam.
  5. Place the FRONT PANELS right sides together and align the edges, matching the yokes, measure the length of the front edges. Attach the ZIPPER to the edge of the front opening. Fold the edges of the front opening in the ZIPPER area and press using a pressing cloth.
  6. Place the FACING on the right side of the FRONT PANEL, right side down, and stitch along the front opening line. Stitching is done from the FRONT PANEL side. Attach the lower edges of the FACINGS to the FRONT PANEL strictly along the marked hemline. Trim the seams of the upper and lower corners of the front opening. Turn the front openings to the right side, straighten the seams. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the edge.
  7. Stitch the shoulder and side seams.
  8. Insert the lower COLLAR into the neckline and attach the upper COLLAR to the FACING.
  9. Stitch the elbow seam of the SLEEVE. Stitch the front seam of the SLEEVE. Press the SLEEVE hem.
  10. Insert the SLEEVES into the armholes, matching the NOTCHES. Insert shoulder pads and sleeve heads.
  11. On the LINING fabric pieces, stitch the seams and insert the SLEEVES, leaving an opening in the front right SLEEVE seam. Attach the LINING to the inner edges of the FACINGS and the upper COLLAR. Secure the COLLAR insertion SEAM ALLOWANCES close to the seams.
  12. Attach the LINING to the hem of the SLEEVE and jacket. Turn the jacket right side out through the opening in the SLEEVE and stitch the opening in the SLEEVE closed.
