Sewing Instructions

TIP: To keep the material stretchy in the areas of finished seams, stitch the cut pieces with a narrow zigzag or special stretchy stitch. To keep the bottom edge stretchy, the hem should be overlocked with an overlock stitch, and then stitched using a twin needle. The same applies to the finishing of other edges of the product that should not lose elasticity. These recommendations do not apply to industrial production.

  1. Reinforce the FRONT PANEL FACING, CUFF, and BACK NECK FACING with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
  2. Attach the BACK NECK FACINGS to the shoulder edges of the FRONT PANEL FACINGS.
  3. Overlock the inner edge of the FRONT PANEL FACING and the BACK NECK FACING.
  4. Stitch the shoulder seams, inserting the edge.
  5. Attach the FRONT PANEL FACING and the BACK NECK FACING to the edge of the front opening. Face the neckline of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL with the FACING. Turn out the FRONT PANEL FACING and BACK NECK FACING. Topstitch the BACK NECK FACING and the FRONT PANEL FACING.
  6. Stitch the side seams.
  7. Stitch the SLEEVE seams.
  8. Fold the CUFFS right sides together, stitch the short sides into a ring, slash the SEAM ALLOWANCE at the opening, leaving an opening in the middle of the seam. Fold the CUFFS in half right sides together, stitch the edges of the opening.
  9. Attach the CUFFS to the bottom of the SLEEVE and overlock the upper edge of the CUFF together with the SLEEVE.
  10. Topstitch the CUFF attachment seam onto the SLEEVE, lay a topstitch along the bottom of the CUFF and the edge of the openings.
  11. Set in the SLEEVES, easing the cap.
  12. Hem and topstitch the bottom of the garment.
  13. On the right FRONT PANEL, make buttonholes, and on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on buttons.
