CUTTER'S MUST

- 5. Lower part of SLEEVE – QTY 2
- 6. Back drawstring casing – QTY 1
- 7. Front drawstring casing – QTY 2
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: upper COLLAR.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the placket and upper COLLAR with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
- On the FRONT PANELS, overcast the openings like buttonholes, first pressing a piece of interfacing to the wrong side.
- Press the placket to the wrong side along the fold lines. Press the plackets, folded in half, to the wrong side, baste them to the neckline edges of the FRONT PANELS, and sew them to the lower edges of the FRONT PANELS.
- Stitch the shoulder SEAM ALLOWANCES of the blouse.
- Stitch the side SEAM ALLOWANCES of the blouse.
- Face the lower COLLAR with the upper COLLAR, topstitch the COLLAR, and turn it right side out.
- Insert the lower COLLAR into the neckline, turn under the raw edge of the upper COLLAR, and topstitch it into the insertion SEAM ALLOWANCE of the lower COLLAR.
- Stitch the upper part of the SLEEVE to the lower part of the SLEEVE, leaving an opening from NOTCH to NOTCH. Topstitch along the SEAM ALLOWANCE joining the SLEEVE parts.
- Stitch the SLEEVE SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Press the SLEEVE hem to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Set in the SLEEVES, easing the cap.
- Stitch the front and back drawstring casings.
- On the drawstring casing strips, press the longitudinal edges to the wrong side by 0.8 cm. Place the strips on the wrong side of the blouse, turn under the ends, and baste the strips. From the right side of the blouse, topstitch the strips along the markings on the FRONT PANELS and BACK PANEL.
- On the ties, turn under the ends. Fold the ties lengthwise and stitch 0.7 cm from the fold. Turn the ties right side out and press. Sew the ends closed. Thread the ties through the drawstring casings.
- Hem and topstitch the bottom of the garment.
- On the right FRONT PANEL, overcast the buttonholes, and on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on the buttons.
