High-waisted women's knit briefs with full back coverage, a waist gathered by elastic in a cut-on casing and elasticated leg openings. For lingerie knit fabric.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: Full-coverage brief with a high waist.

Waist: Cut-on facing folded to the inside to form a casing, with elastic equal to the waist measurement threaded through an opening left in the centre back seam.

Front: Two front pieces joined by a centre front seam.

Back: Two back pieces joined by a centre back seam.

Legs: Elastic is stretched and zigzagged to the leg opening allowances on the right side, extending 2 mm beyond the marking, then turned to the inside and zigzagged again.

Finishing: Inseams and side seams pressed open; casing topstitched 0.1 cm from the fold.

Sewing Instructions

Stitch the inseam and side seam allowances, placing the front and back pieces face to face. Press the seam allowances open.
Place the panty halves face to face. Stitch the center seam, leaving an unstitched section at the back above the fold line of the integrated facing for threading elastic trim strip.
Press the integrated facing to the wrong side, fold under the seam allowance, and topstitch 0.1 cm from the fold. Stitch along the marking line and thread elastic trim strip, equal to the waist circumference, through the created casing.
To the leg opening seam allowances, attach elastic trim strip from the right side with a zigzag stitch, stretching it so that it extends 2 mm beyond the marking. Fold the seam allowances to the wrong side and stitch again with a zigzag stitch, stretching the trim strip.
