CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. BACK PANEL - 1 QTY on fold
  • 2. FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
  • 4. SLEEVE - 2 QTY
  • From crepe-satin:
  • 3. Belt - 1 QTY
  • 5. FACING for front edge - 2 QTY
  • 6. SLEEVE FACING - 2 QTY
  • 7. Loop - 3 QTY
  • 8. Tie - 2 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch shoulder SEAM ALLOWANCES. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Set in SLEEVES into open armholes.
  2. Stitch side SEAM ALLOWANCES and SLEEVE SEAM ALLOWANCES in one continuous seam.
  3. Press the hem allowance to the wrong side, fold under and topstitch. Stitch the FACING pieces for the front edge, press the seam open. Fold the front edge FACING with the robe, right sides together, and stitch along the front edge and neckline edges at 1 cm. Fold the FACING along the fold line, right side in, fold out the longitudinal allowance and stitch the lower edges. Turn the FACING to the right side and topstitch the FACING from the right side into the attaching seam, catching the inner part.
  4. Stitch the SLEEVE FACING into a ring and finish the SLEEVE hem in the same way as the front edge.
  5. Fold the Ties lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch along the long and short sides. Turn the Ties to the right side, baste and press. Attach one Tie to the left front edge, the second to the right side seam.
  6. Fold the Belt lengthwise in half, right side in, and stitch along the long and one short side, turn out and baste. Fold under the open edge and topstitch the Belt 0.1 cm from the edge.
  7. Fold the belt loops lengthwise in half, right side out, and press. Unfold the belt loop and fold the edges to the marked fold line, fold the belt loop along the fold line and topstitch. Attach the belt loops to the side edges.
