CUTTER'S MUST

If the patterns have a double contour, they include SEAM ALLOWANCES. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: All seams - 1 cm. ATTENTION! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width should be at least 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need.

  • From main fabric:
    • Center back piece - 1 piece on fold
    • Side back piece — 2 pieces
    • Center front piece - 2 pieces
    • Side front piece – 2 pieces
    • Sleeve — 2 pieces
    • Collar – 2 pieces
    • Front facing - 2 pieces
    • Back neckline facing – 1 piece
    • Pocket – 4 pieces
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Front facing – 2 pieces
    • Back neckline facing - 1 piece
    • Collar – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the NOTCHES - they must match! Try to observe the GRAIN LINE direction.

  1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
  2. Stitch the back princess seams. Overlock the seam allowances and press them towards the center back.
  3. Fold pocket pieces in pairs right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Clip the seam allowances, turn right side out, and press the pocket opening. Place the pocket onto the side front piece and secure it along the side and princess seams.
  4. Stitch the front princess seams. Overlock the seam allowances and press them towards the center front.
  5. Stitch the shoulder and side seams, press the seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
  6. Fold collar pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer edge. Trim the seam allowances, turn the collar right side out, and press. Attach the collar to the neckline.
  7. Stitch the shoulder seams of the front facing and back neckline facing. Press the seam allowances open. Overlock the outer edge. Place the front facing onto the right side of the front piece, right side down, and stitch along the front edge, inserting the zipper, simultaneously stitching the neckline. Trim the seam allowances at the corners, clip along the neckline. Turn the front facings to the wrong side. Secure the back neckline facing to the shoulder seams. Topstitch along the front edge 0.5 cm from the zipper teeth.
  8. Stitch the sleeve seam. Overlock the seam allowance and press it towards the back. Set the sleeves into the armholes. Overlock the seam allowances.
  9. Overlock the bottom edge of the robe and sleeves, press towards the wrong side, and topstitch.
