Knit Dress With Wrap Draping

Fabric recommendations: only elastic fabrics and knit fabrics. You will need: knit fabric 150 cm wide; ZIPPER.

CUTTER'S MUST

• From main fabric:
• 1. Center BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
• 2. Right SIDE PANEL of BACK PANEL - 1 QTY
• 3. Left SIDE PANEL of BACK PANEL - 1 QTY
• 4. Left SIDE PANEL of FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY
• 5. Upper COLLAR stand – 1 QTY
• 6. Lower COLLAR stand – 1 QTY
• 7. Center FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY
• 8. Right SIDE PANEL of FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY
• 9. Draping - 1 QTY
• 10. SLEEVE - 2 QTY

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch the right princess seam of the FRONT PANEL.
2. Finish the upper and lower edges of the draping with a turned-under seam. Lay pleats according to markings. Place the draping on the center FRONT PANEL, wrong side to right side, and baste along the edges.
3. Stitch the center BACK PANEL seam from the mark downwards, the princess seams of the BACK PANEL and the left princess seam of the FRONT PANEL, shoulder seams, side seams. Overcast the seams.
4. On the upper COLLAR stand, lay and baste the pleats. Fold the upper and lower COLLAR stands right sides together and stitch along the upper edge. Turn right side out, baste and press. Fold the lower edge of the upper COLLAR stand with the dress neckline, right sides together, and stitch. Fold under the lower edge of the lower COLLAR stand and topstitch into the attaching seam.
5. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCE for the closure to the wrong side. Place the ZIPPER under the folds and stitch, folding the tape from the top.
6. Lay and baste pleats along the SLEEVE cap. Trim the SEAM ALLOWANCE along the SLEEVE cap to 1 cm. Stitch the SLEEVE seams. Set the SLEEVES into the armholes. Finish the bottom of the SLEEVES with a turned-under seam.
7. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCE for the slit of the left SIDE PANEL of the FRONT PANEL and all SEAM ALLOWANCES for the hem of the garment to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
