Fabric & Materials
Fabric recommendations: thin dress fabrics that hold their shape. You will need: Taffeta 150 cm wide; LINING fabric 140 cm wide; FUSIBLE INTERFACING; invisible ZIPPER 60 cm long; stiff corset tape 110 cm long, 8 mm wide.

- 1. Center BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
- 2. Side BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
- 3. Center FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
- 4. Side FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- From LINING:
- 1. Center BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
- 2. Side BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
- 3. Center FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
- 4. Side FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: interface the upper parts up to the waist of all main fabric pieces.
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the center FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL seams, and the princess seams. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
- Stitch the side seams, leaving the section for the ZIPPER unstitched, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Attach the ZIPPER so that the teeth are not visible.
- Divide the corset tape into 5 equal parts. Attach the tape segments from the upper edge of the dress to the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the right side seam, princess seams, and center BACK PANEL seams, as well as along the left edge of the slit.
- Stitch the seams on the LINING pieces. Place the dress and LINING right sides together. Fold back the LINING 5 mm from the edges of the invisible ZIPPER and pin it to the upper edge of the dress. Fold the SEAM ALLOWANCES along the ZIPPER to the right side of the dress and pin them to the upper edge over the LINING. Stitch the upper edges. Fold the SEAM ALLOWANCES along the ZIPPER to the wrong side. Fold the LINING up and topstitch it to the seam allowance 1-2 mm from the seam. Fold the LINING to the wrong side and attach it to the ZIPPER tape.
- Press the hem allowance to the wrong side, fold it inwards and topstitch. For the LINING, make the hem 2 cm shorter than the dress.
