- 5. BACK NECKLINE FACING - QTY 1 on fold
- 6. CENTRAL FRONT PANEL - QTY 2
- 7. FRONT FACING, CUT-ON WITH UPPER COLLAR - QTY 2
- 8. UPPER SLEEVE - QTY 2
- 9. LOWER SLEEVE - QTY 2
- CONTRAST FABRIC:
- 10. COLLAR TRIM - QTY 1 on fold
- 11. WELT - QTY 2
Sewing Instructions
- Sew the center back and back princess seams.
- Fold the welt piece along the fold line. Baste the lower edges of the welt to the upper edge of the lower side FRONT PANEL. Stitch the seam of the lower and upper side FRONT PANELs, attaching the welt simultaneously. Stitch the princess seams of the FRONT PANELs, catching the side edge of the welt.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams.
- Topstitch the contrast fabric piece onto the upper COLLAR, which is cut-on with the FRONT FACINGs. Sew the center COLLAR seam. Stitch the shoulder seams of the FRONT PANEL and the BACK NECKLINE FACING. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Attach the lower COLLAR to the jacket neckline, and attach the upper COLLAR to the FACING neckline. Trim the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the attachment seams close to the stitching and press open.
- Fold the FRONT FACINGs with the FRONT PANELs right sides together and pin to the front edges, pin the edges of the upper and lower COLLAR. Clean finish the jacket along the front edges and COLLAR. Hem the jacket. Attach the FRONT FACINGs to the bottom hem.
