SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 2 cm.
ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND ARRANGE THEM ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED.
WHEN SEWING PIECES TOGETHER, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. Upper back – 1 piece on fold
  • 2. Upper front – 1 piece on fold
  • 3. Lower back – 1 piece on fold
  • 4. Lower front – 1 piece on fold

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch the shoulder seams of the upper pieces. Press seam allowances open. Stitch the side seams. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the back.
  2. Stitch the side seams of the lower pieces. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the back. Fold the lower front and back wrong sides together and stitch the shoulder seams. Press seam allowances open.
  3. Place the lower part of the tunic wrong side onto the right side of the upper part, align along the neckline edge and face. Trim seam allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side and press the neckline. Face the armhole in two steps: first the front armhole, then the back armhole.
  4. Overlock the hem allowance of the dress, press to the wrong side and topstitch.

TIP: The tunic hem can be finished with a narrow rolled hem. In this case, trim the hem allowances to 0.5 cm.
