Introducing a charming women's blouse pattern featuring a unique cold shoulder design accentuated by a graceful ruffle overlay.
This blouse is perfect for warm weather and relaxed occasions, making it an ideal choice for:
Silhouette: Relaxed, straight silhouette with a comfortable, flowing fit.
Neckline: Classic round neckline finished with a neat facing.
Closure: Small keyhole opening at the back neckline with a single button and loop closure.
Sleeves: Short cap sleeves with a distinctive cold shoulder cut-out, adorned with a graceful, wide ruffle extending over the shoulders.
Back: Features a simple, clean back with a keyhole opening at the neck.
Hem: Straight hemline for a versatile finish.
Length: Hip length, offering comfortable coverage.
Intermediate. Requires skills in dart construction, working with facings, and attaching ruffles.
Choose lightweight fabrics with a good drape to enhance the ruffle and overall flow:
If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: all seams 1 cm. Seam allowance for the lower edge of the ruffles – 0 cm. Hem allowance for the bottom of the garment – 2 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).
When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
Tip: The lower edge of the ruffles can be finished with bias binding.
