Tech. Description

Round Neck Sheath Dress Three Quarter Sleeves

Introducing a sophisticated women's sewing pattern for a classic sheath dress, featuring a graceful round neckline, sleek three-quarter sleeves, and a flattering fitted silhouette.

When To Wear

This versatile sheath dress is perfect for a variety of occasions, making it an excellent choice for:

  • Work & Professional Settings: Its timeless and elegant design is ideal for office wear and business meetings.
  • Smart Casual Gatherings: Easily dressed up or down for brunches, dinners, or social events.
  • Elegant Occasions: Suitable for receptions, theatre, or other events requiring a refined ensemble.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: a close-fitting sheath silhouette that gently skims the body, offering a polished and flattering line.

Neckline: a simple, elegant round neckline that provides a classic and versatile canvas for accessorizing.

Closure: Designed with a clean center back seam, typically suggesting a concealed zipper for a smooth finish.

Sleeves: Set-in sleeves ending at a sophisticated three-quarter length.

Back: Features a tailored center back seam, contributing to the garment's shaping and refined fit.

Length: Finishes above the knee, offering a modern and elegant proportion.

Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate. Requires confident sewing skills, including precise seam construction, fitting, and potentially invisible zipper installation for a professional finish.

Fabric Recommendations

Choose dress fabrics with appropriate stretch and drape for optimal comfort and fit:

  • Woven dress fabrics made from natural or blended fibers with added elastane (e.g., gabardine, stretch crepe, wool blends).
  • Weakly stretchy knit fabrics made from natural or blended fibers (e.g., ponte roma, stable jersey, compact interlock).

Additional Supplies

No additional notions are required.

Cutter's Must

If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: all seams 1 cm; hem allowance for back and front bottom – 3 cm; hem allowance for sleeve bottom – 2.0 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
