CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE PATTERNS INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES; IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance – 1.5 cm, other seams – 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical details).

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Along the upper edge of the back, stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather. Attach the yoke to the back, press seam allowances towards the yoke and overlock. Attach the yoke to the front, press seam allowances towards the yoke and overlock.
3. Press the upper allowance of the pocket to the wrong side by 1 cm, then along the marking line and topstitch. Press the side and bottom allowances of the pocket to the wrong side. Place the pocket on the left front according to the marking and topstitch.
4. Press the plackets lengthwise in half, right side out. Attach the outer edge of the placket to the front. Press the seam towards the placket. Fold the inner edge of the placket inwards and topstitch into the attachment seam.
5. Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
6. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings, press allowances open. Fold the outer and inner facings right sides together and stitch along the outer contour. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked seam line for attachment. Clip allowances at curves. Turn out the finished facing and press.
7. Attach the outer facing to the neckline, fold under the raw edge of the inner facing and topstitch into the attachment seam.
8. Make a slit on the sleeve along the marked line. Cut a bias strip from the main fabric 4 cm wide and a length equal to twice the slit length + 4 cm. Fold the bias strip in half lengthwise and press. Press the outer allowances towards the center. Finish the sleeve slit with the bias strip.
9. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances and overlock. Set sleeves into armholes, press allowances and overlock.
10. Fold the cuff lengthwise in half, right side in, and stitch the short sides. Start stitching strictly at the marked line for attaching the cuff to the sleeve. Turn out the cuff and press. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the bottom of the sleeve. Fold under the inner side of the cuff and topstitch into the attachment seam.
11. Overlock the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
12. On the right front, make buttonholes, on the left - sew on buttons. Make buttonholes and sew on buttons on the cuffs.
