Introducing a charming women's blouse pattern, featuring a distinctive stand collar, gently gathered short sleeves, and an elegant pintuck-detailed front placket.
Fabric & Materials
For the best drape and finish, select light to medium-weight fabrics that offer a soft hand and fluid movement:
- Blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers
- Shirting fabrics
Additional Supplies:
- Fusible interfacing
- 1 hidden zipper closure
CUTTER'S MUST
If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for the bottom of the garment and sleeve hem – 1.5 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

- Fold the plackets in pairs right sides together and stitch along the outer edge. Turn the pieces right side out and press. Fold the front and placket wrong sides together and stitch (stitching seam on the right side). Turn the placket to the right side, overlock the seam and press the placket. Fold the fronts wrong sides together and stitch along the placket attachment seam from the bottom to the mark.

- Stitch the right side seam, press the allowances towards the back and overlock. Overlock the allowances of the left side seam separately. Stitch the left side seam from the mark to the bottom. Insert the concealed zipper.
- Overlock the sleeve hem allowance, fold it to the wrong side and topstitch. Along the sleeve cap, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Set the sleeves into the armholes. Overlock the allowance.
- Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide, with a length equal to the length of the lower of the armhole + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise right side out and press. Place the binding along the armhole edge right side out and stitch, then fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece.
- Overlock the bottom of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Attach the loose placket to the front in two to three places with blind stitches.
