Cutter's Must
- From main fabric:
- 1. Inner back – 1 piece on fold
- 2. Outer back — 1 piece on fold
- 3. Inner front — 1 piece on fold
- 4. Outer front — 1 piece on fold
- 5. Back of sleeve — 2 pieces
- 6. Front of sleeve — 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- Form pleats on the inner back, stitch them for 15 cm from the neckline, press (depths directed towards the center).
- Stitch the side and shoulder seam allowances of the outer and inner blouse pieces, press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
- Place the outer front right side to the wrong side of the inner front and stitch the neckline edge. Clip seam allowances at curves, turn front panels right side out, straighten, press. Secure front panels along armhole edges and then treat as one piece.
- Stitch the sleeve edge, press seam allowances and serge. Serge the lower sleeve edge, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Along the upper sleeve edge, stitch with a loosely tensioned thread and gather. Place the back of the sleeve onto the front and secure along the upper edge.
- Set the sleeves into the armholes, press seam allowances and serge.
- Serge the lower edges of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
