- 4. Lower FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY
- 5. SLEEVE – 2 QTY
- 6. Bow – 1 QTY
- 7. FRONT PANEL neckline FACING – 1 QTY
- 8. BACK PANEL neckline FACING – 2 QTY
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
- 1. FRONT PANEL neckline FACING – 1 QTY
- 2. BACK PANEL neckline FACING – 2 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the respective pieces.
- On the BACK PANEL pieces, stitch the waist darts, press the dart depths towards the center. Attach the lower BACK PANEL to the upper BACK PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and serge.
- Serge the center edges of the BACK PANEL separately. Stitch the center back seam from the ZIPPER mark downwards, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Insert the ZIPPER.
- On the upper FRONT PANEL piece, create and secure the pleats, with pleat depths directed downwards. Attach the lower FRONT PANEL to the upper FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and serge.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the back and serge.
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the FACINGS, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Serge the outer edge. Along the upper edge of the FRONT PANEL, stitch with loosely tensioned stitches to gather. Place FACINGS and garment right sides together and stitch the neckline edge. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES at curves, turn FACINGS to the wrong side and press.
- Serge the lower edge of the SLEEVE, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Stitch the SLEEVE seam, press and serge SEAM ALLOWANCES. Along the upper part of the SLEEVE cap, stitch with loosely tensioned stitches to gather. Set SLEEVES into armholes, matching NOTCHES. Press and serge SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Hem the bottom of the garment by folding 1 cm, then another 1.5 cm, and topstitch.
- Fold the bow piece in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the short sides and one long side, leaving a 10-15 cm opening on the long side. Trim SEAM ALLOWANCES at corners, turn the piece right side out, shape, and press. Stitch the opening closed. Tie the bow and attach it to the garment.
