CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. BACK PANEL lower part – 2 QTY
- 2. BACK PANEL upper part – 2 QTY
- 3. FRONT PANEL upper part — 1 QTY
- 4. FRONT PANEL lower part — 1 QTY
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics should be sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also sew pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the center seam of the upper and lower BACK PANEL, overcast SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the upper and lower BACK PANEL, overcast SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- On the upper FRONT PANEL, snip the allowance at the T-shaped NOTCH and the piece between the T-shaped NOTCHES. Create a pleat (depth directed upwards), stitch the seam from the shoulder seam to the end of the pleat. Fold the left FRONT PANEL right side out along the marked long line, place it on the right part, aligning the neckline edges and shoulder edges, and secure them together. Stitch the upper and lower FRONT PANEL, overcast SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the upper edge of the SLEEVE, overcast SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the lower edge of the SLEEVE simultaneously with the side edges, overcast SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Overcast the neckline allowance, fold it inwards and topstitch. Overcast the hem of the dress and SLEEVES, fold inwards and topstitch.
- Along the SLEEVE seams from the bottom to the marked line, stitch with elastic thread.
ATTENTION! For some sizes, it is possible that the upper FRONT PANEL piece will not fit on the fabric. In this case, you need to cut the piece along the line on the SLEEVE and cut the upper FRONT PANEL from two pieces. Don't forget to add SEAM ALLOWANCES!
