Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. ALSO NEEDED: fusible interfacing; concealed zipper.

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm; hem allowance for dress bottom and sleeve bottom – 2.5 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Upper back part - 2 pieces
  • Lower central back part - 2 pieces
  • Lower side back part - 2 pieces
  • Upper central front part - 1 piece
  • Upper side front part – 2 pieces
  • Lower central front part – 1 piece on fold
  • Lower side front part – 2 pieces
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Collar – 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Collar – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Stitch darts on the upper back part, press seam allowances towards the center. Stitch the princess seams of the lower back part. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the center. Stitch the upper and lower back parts together, press seam allowances upwards and overlock.
3. Overlock the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom, press seam allowances open. Insert the concealed zipper.
4. Stitch darts on the upper side front pieces, press seam allowances upwards. Attach the upper side front pieces to the central front piece. Overlock seam allowances, press upwards.
5. Stitch the princess seams on the lower front part. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the center.
6. Stitch the upper and lower front parts together, clipping the lower part at the corner, press seam allowances upwards and overlock.
7. Stitch shoulder and side seams, press seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
8. Place collar pieces right sides together and stitch along the ends and outer edge, starting and ending the stitching strictly at the marked attachment line. Clip seam allowances at curves, trim at corners. Turn the collar right side out, shape, and press. Attach the upper collar to the neckline, clip seam allowances, press towards the collar. Fold the seam allowance of the inner collar inwards and topstitch into the attachment seam.
9. Stitch the sleeve seam, press seam allowances towards the back and overlock. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches, press seam allowances and overlock.
10. Overlock the hem allowance of the dress and sleeve, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
