Closure: a discreet invisible zipper at the center back seam ensures a smooth and polished fit.

Sleeves: Short, extended cap sleeves provide modest shoulder coverage and are finished with a clean bias binding.

Fabric Recommendations

Choose lightweight, fluid blouse fabrics that enhance the drape and flow of the design:

  • Blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers

Additional Supplies

  • 1 invisible zipper

Cutter's Must

Attention! First of all, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match! Attention! Markings on the patterns are made on the right side.

  • From main fabric:
    • Left back – 1 piece
    • Right back – 1 piece
    • Front – 1 piece
    • Decorative piece – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

  1. Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Insert the concealed zipper.
  2. Fold the decorative pieces right sides together and stitch the upper and lower edges. Turn the pieces right side out and press. Along the contoured edge of the piece, stitch with a loosened top thread and gather. Secure the pieces to the right shoulder seam of the front. Cut the front between the marked lines. Stitch the contoured edge of the front, gradually tapering to nothing and inserting the decorative piece. Serge the contoured edge.
  3. Stitch the shoulder seams. Serge the allowances and press towards the back.
  4. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the neckline length + 5 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding along the neckline edge, right side facing, and stitch. Clip the allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
  5. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 5 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding along the armhole edge, right side facing, and stitch. Clip the allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
  6. Stitch the side seams. Serge the allowances and press towards the back.
  7. Serge the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
