CUTTER'S MUST

Hem allowance for the bottom edge of the garment – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to consider paired and symmetrical parts). - Interface the pieces with fusible interfacing.
- Along the upper edge of the front between the marks, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Attach the front yoke to the front. Overlock the allowance and press it towards the yoke.
- Attach the outer side of the placket to the front, press the allowance towards the placket. Fold the allowance of the inner side inwards and topstitch into the attaching seam.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams, simultaneously with the sleeve seams. Press the allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Fold the collar pieces right sides together, stitch the ends and the outer edge. Trim the allowances at the corners. Turn the collar right side out, straighten and press. Topstitch 0.1 cm from the edge. Fold the collar stand pieces right sides together, insert the finished collar between them and stitch, simultaneously stitching the ends of the collar stand. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked line of the collar stand insertion seam. Turn the finished collar right side out and press. Attach the outer collar stand to the neckline, fold under the open edge of the inner collar stand and topstitch into the attaching seam.
- Fold the cuff in half lengthwise right side in and stitch the short sides. Trim the allowances at the corners, turn right side out and press. Attach the cuff to the sleeve, aligning the side edges of the cuff flush with the shoulder seam of the blouse. Overlock the allowances and press them towards the sleeve.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the garment. Press the allowance to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Overlock the buttonholes and sew on the buttons on the placket and collar stand.
