FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing; 5 buttons.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE PATTERNS INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance for the bottom of the garment and sleeve hem – 2 cm; other seams – 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

  • Back - 1 piece with fold
  • Front - 2 pieces
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Collar — 2 pieces
  • Casing – 1 piece with fold
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Collar — 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces. Also fuse the integrated placket of the front.
2. Stitch bust darts, press seam allowances upwards.
3. Press the integrated placket of the front to the wrong side along the edge line. Fold the longitudinal seam allowance of the integrated placket inwards and topstitch the placket to the front.
4. Stitch shoulder and side seams, press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
5. Place the upper collar on the lower collar right sides together, stitch the ends and the outer edge of the collar. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked line of the attaching seam. Trim seams, turn the collar right side out, straighten and press. Attach the lower collar to the neckline, fold under the open edge of the upper collar and topstitch into the attaching seam.
6. Serge the seam allowances of the short sides of the casing, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Press the seam allowances of the long sides of the casing to the wrong side. Place the casing according to markings on the right side of the garment and topstitch.
7. Stitch the sleeve seam, press seam allowances towards the back and serge. Set sleeves into armholes, press seam allowances and serge.
8. Fold the bottom of the garment and sleeves inwards by 1 cm, then another 1 cm and topstitch.
9. On the right front, make buttonholes, on the left – sew on buttons.
10. Cut a bias strip for the tie from the main fabric, 4 cm wide and a length equal to waist circumference + 50 cm. Fold the strip in half lengthwise and press. Press the outer seam allowances towards the center, topstitch along the edge. Thread the tie through the casing.
