Key Design Features

Silhouette: Fitted through the hips, narrowing towards the hem.

Length: Just below the knee.

Waist: High-rise. The outer waistband is stitched to the side and back panels, while the centre of the front panel extends up to the top edge. Front: One panel cut on the fold, with two darts topstitched at 0.5 cm and tapering off.

Back: Two panels with a centre back seam and topstitched darts.

Skirt: A curved gore on each side, stitched first to the front and then to the back panel; both seams are topstitched at 0.5 cm.

Closure: Invisible zipper in the centre back seam, running through the waistband.

Finishing: Centre back slit at the hem, topstitched at 0.5 cm and reinforced with interfacing at its top; hem turned up 2 cm and topstitched.

Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate. Curved gore seams, a waistband that meets a raised front panel, a slit, an invisible zipper and a lot of even topstitching at 0.5 cm.
