Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

  1. Fuse interlining to the designated pieces.
  2. Fold collar stand pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer contour. Start and end stitching strictly at the marked seam line for attachment. Clip allowances at curves. Turn the finished collar stand right side out and press.
  3. Along the upper edge of the back, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the back sleeve to the back, press allowances and serge. Stitch the back yoke to the back, press allowances upwards and serge.
  4. Along the upper edge of the front, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the front sleeve to the front, press allowances and serge. Stitch the front yoke to the front, press allowances upwards and serge.
  5. Stitch the upper sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and serge. Stitch the lower sleeve seam simultaneously with the side seam, press allowances towards the back and serge.
  6. Serge the short sides of the casing, fold inwards and topstitch. Press the long sides of the casing to the wrong side. Place the casing wrong side down according to markings on the front and back and topstitch.
  7. Serge the shoulder and inner edge of the front facing. Fold the front facing with the front right sides together and stitch the front edge and upper corner. Clip allowances at the mark, turn the front facing to the wrong side, straighten, and press. Secure the front facing to the front along the neckline edge.
  8. Stitch the outer of the collar stand into the neckline, press allowances towards the collar stand. Fold the open edge of the inner collar stand and topstitch into the seam.
  9. Serge the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
  10. Serge buttonholes on the right front. Sew buttons on the left front.
  11. Press the bottom edge of the sleeve 1 cm to the wrong side, then another 1.5 cm and topstitch, leaving an opening for the elastic. Thread elastic tape through the created casing and secure.
  12. Fold the belt in half lengthwise right sides together and stitch, leaving an opening on the long side for turning. Turn the belt right side out, straighten and press. Topstitch the belt around the perimeter 0.1 cm from the edge. Thread through the casing.
