  3. Fold the back yokes wrong sides together, secure along the edges, and then treat as one piece. Attach the back yoke to the back, overcast the allowance and press it upwards.
  4. Fold the front yokes wrong sides together, secure along the edges, and then treat as one piece. Form and secure the pleats on the front, directing the depth away from the center. Attach the front yoke to the front, overcast the allowance and press it upwards.
  5. Fold the plackets in pairs right sides together and stitch the outer edge. Clip the allowances, turn the plackets right side out and press. Attach the outer side of the placket to the front, press the allowances towards the placket. Fold under the edge of the inner placket and topstitch into the attaching seam.
  6. Stitch and overcast the sleeve seam. Press the allowance towards the back. Along the bottom edge of the sleeve between the marks, sew a basting stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Bind the bottom edge with bias tape. Along the sleeve cap in the upper part, sew a basting stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Set the sleeve into the armhole. Overcast and press the allowances.
  7. Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Overcast the allowances and press them towards the back.
  8. Attach the outer part of the collar stand to the neckline, press the allowances towards the collar stand. Fold under the open edge of the inner collar stand and topstitch into the attaching seam.
  9. Overcast the bottom edge of the garment. Press the allowances to the wrong side and topstitch.
  10. Overcast buttonholes on the right placket. Sew buttons onto the left side of the placket.
