ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to consider paired and symmetrical parts). ATTENTION! Markings on the patterns are on the right side!

    • Front - 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Cut a bias binding for the back slit, length equal to double the slit length + 4 cm and width 5 cm. Press the binding in half lengthwise, right side out. Mark the slit line on the back, cut. Lay the back flat along the slit line, place the binding on the right side, aligning the raw edges, and stitch. The seam allowance along the slit length is 0.5 – 0.7 cm, decreasing to 0.2 cm at the bottom of the slit. Fold the binding to the wrong side, enclosing the seam, and topstitch into the seam.
  2. On the left shoulder edge of the front, create and secure arbitrary even pleats.
  3. Stitch the shoulder edges, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
  4. Cut a bias strip 2.5 cm wide and 10 cm long for the loop. Fold the strip in half lengthwise, right side in, and stitch 0.3 cm from the fold. Trim allowances close to the stitching, turn the strip right side out and straighten the rouleau. Adjust the loop length.
  5. Cut a bias binding 4 cm wide and length equal to the neckline length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding on the neckline edge, right side facing, extending the ends, and stitch. Fold the binding to the wrong side, clip the seams, and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam. Stitch the loop to the left side of the back slit.
  6. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and length equal to the armhole length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding on the armhole edge, right side facing, and stitch, fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece.
  7. Stitch the side edges, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
  8. Press the bottom edge of the garment up by 1 cm, then another 1 cm, and topstitch.
  9. Sew the button to the right side of the back slit.
  10. Secure the pleats on the left side of the front with a decorative pin.
