FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers.
CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowances for top and lining – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!
- From main fabric:
- Back – 1 piece with fold
- Front - 1 piece with fold
- Back lining – 1 piece with fold
- Front lining – 1 piece with fold
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch darts on the front. Press seam allowances upwards.
- Stitch the center seam of the main hood. Press seam allowance open.
- Clip the front seam allowance at the corner. Stitch the hood into the back neckline. Press seam allowance open.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams. Press seam allowances open.
- Stitch lining pieces similarly to main pieces. Place main and lining right sides together and stitch around the front cutout and hood edge. Turn the piece right side out and press.
- Stitch the armhole in two steps – first the front armhole, then the back armhole. Clip seam allowances and press.
- Secure the main and lining seam allowances at the back neckline allowance.
- Overlock the hem allowances, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
