Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING DETAILS, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Interface the details with fusible interfacing. Also, interface the zipper area on the wrong side of the left front.
  2. Stitch the darts on the back and front details, press the waist dart depths towards the center of the details, and the bust darts upwards.
  3. Stitch the shoulder seams, press the allowances towards the back and overcast.
  4. Press the left fabric tape of the zipper in half lengthwise. Place it according to the markings on the left front and topstitch on the right side.
  5. Stitch the side seams of the upper parts, press the allowances towards the back and overcast.
  6. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facing and front facings, press the allowances open, overcast the outer edge. Fold the blouse with the front facings right sides together and stitch the neckline and front edges, inserting the right part of the zipper. Clip the allowances at the curves, turn the facing and front facings to the wrong side and press. Attach the facing to the shoulder seams.
  7. Stitch the side seams of the lower parts, press the allowances towards the back and overcast. Overcast, fold inwards and topstitch the bottom edges. Fold the outer edges of the front peplum twice by 1 cm and topstitch. Stitch the upper and lower parts of the garment, press the allowances downwards and overcast.
  8. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 5 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise with the right side out and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge right sides together and stitch. Clip the allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main detail. Press the seam.
