CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance for the garment and sleeve hem – 1.5 cm, other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  • From main fabric:
    • Back yoke — 2 pieces
    • Back side part – 2 pieces
    • Front yoke – 1 piece
    • Front side part — 2 pieces
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • From main fabric1:
    • Back central part – 1 piece with fold
    • Front central part — 1 piece with fold

Sewing Instructions

  1. Serge the center edges of the back yoke separately, press towards the wrong side. Stitch a reinforcing line 0.1 cm from the edge of the slit.
  2. Stitch the back princess seams. Serge the allowances and press towards the center. Attach the back yokes to the back, press the allowances towards the yoke and serge.
  3. Stitch the front princess seams, press the allowances towards the center and serge. Attach the front yoke to the front. Serge the allowance and press towards the yoke.
  4. Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press the allowances towards the back and serge.
  5. Cut a bias strip 2.5 cm wide and 5 cm long for the rouleau loop. Fold the strip lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch 0.3 cm from the fold. Trim the allowances close to the stitching, turn the strip right side out and shape the rouleau. Adjust the loop length.
  6. Cut a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the neckline length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right sides out, and press. Place the binding with the neckline edge on the right side, extending the tails, and face. Fold the binding to the wrong side, clip the seams, and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam. Attach the loop to the left back yoke.
  7. Stitch the sleeve seam, serge the allowances and press towards the back. Set the sleeves into the armholes, press the allowances and serge.
  8. Serge the bottom edge of the garment and sleeves, press towards the wrong side and topstitch.
  9. Sew the button onto the right back yoke.
