Introducing a versatile women's longsleeve top pattern featuring a unique geometric paneled front design and comfortable fit.
This stylish longsleeve top is perfect for a variety of casual to smart-casual settings, offering comfort and a distinctive look for:
Silhouette: Designed for a comfortable, body-skimming fit through the torso and sleeves.
Neckline: Classic round neck, finished with a facing for a clean edge.
Front: The defining feature is a creative geometric paneled construction, with multiple diagonal seams creating a visually striking pattern.
Back: Simple, smooth back panel cut on the fold for a seamless finish.
Sleeves: Full-length, set-in sleeves for a comfortable fit.
Hem: Straight hem, designed to fall around hip length.
Intermediate. This pattern involves working with multiple front panels, precise seam matching, a bust dart, and handling knit fabrics.
Select knit fabrics with a medium degree of stretch to achieve the intended fit and drape:
If the patterns have a double contour, seam allowances are included. If the contour is single, the patterns are without seam allowances. Seam allowances: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for the bottom edge of the long sleeve and sleeve – 1.5 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match! Attention! Markings on the patterns are made on the right side.
Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.
