This dress is designed for versatile wear, making it an ideal choice for:
Silhouette: a flattering fitted silhouette through the bodice that gently skims the hips, ending at a mini length.
Neckline: a classic round neckline, designed to be finished with a neat bias binding, optionally in a contrasting color.
Sleeves: Sleeveless design, featuring clean armholes finished with bias binding, allowing for freedom of movement.
Front Detail: Dynamic front paneling includes diagonal shoulder yokes and vertical princess-style seams, creating a shaped and tailored look.
Back Detail: a clean, simple back featuring shoulder yokes that continue from the front, ensuring a smooth and comfortable fit.
Hem: a straight, neat hemline at a playful mini length.
Intermediate. This pattern involves working with knit fabrics, constructing panel seams, and precisely applying bias binding to both the neckline and armholes.
Choose knit fabrics with medium stretch for optimal comfort and drape:
No additional notions are required.
If the patterns have a double contour, seam allowances are included. If the contour is single, seam allowances are not included. Seam allowances: hem allowance – 1.5 cm, other seams 1 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need. When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim allowances to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
