Sewing Instructions

1. Place bottom pieces right sides together, stitch, press seams open.
2. Stitch side panel pieces, press seams open.
3. Stitch bottom and side panel together, placing them right sides together. Press seams open.
4. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to visor pieces. Place visor pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer contour. Trim SEAM ALLOWANCES close to the seam. Turn visor right side out, baste the seam, press. Topstitch the visor along the edge. Trim the inner edge of the visor.
5. Place visor and top right sides together, aligning centers and stitch.
6. Press the top edge of the headpiece to the wrong side. Attach elastic TRIM STRIP at the back between the top side panels. Secure the ends at the seams connecting the bottom to the side panel.
7. Stitch LINING pieces similarly to the top pieces. Insert LINING into the headpiece, aligning LINING and top seams. Fold the bottom edge of the LINING inwards and topstitch, joining the top and LINING pieces. On the elastic TRIM STRIP section, sew a second decorative stitch above the TRIM STRIP.
