All interfacing pieces are cut using the corresponding main pattern pieces.

Important Information
Before cutting your fabric:
- Print and lay out pattern pieces to determine yardage.
- Check mirrored pieces, notches, and grainlines.
- For patterned fabrics, align carefully for symmetry.
Assembly Instructions
Preparation
- Apply fusible interfacing to Center Front Facings, Welts, Cuffs, Stand Collars, Upper Collar.

Transfer all markings to fabric: welt position, buttonholes, collar notches.
- Staystitch neckline and armholes to prevent stretching.
Back Assembly
- Stitch the center back seam. Press the seam allowance to the left side and topstitch.
- Attach the Yoke to the Back. Press the seam allowance toward the Yoke and topstitch.
Welt Pocket in Panel Seam
- Stitch the short ends of the Welt, turn right side out, and press the folds. Topstitch along the edges of the Welt.
- Align the raw edges of the Welt with the seam allowance of the front panel seam of the Center Front piece, placing the Welt on the right side of the Center Front and matching the top edge of the Welt to the notch.
- Place the upper Pocket Bag on top of the Welt and baste all layers together.
- Place the lower Pocket Bag on the right side of the Side Front piece.
- Stitch the Welt and both pocket bags in place.
- Stitch the front panel seams, enclosing the pocket construction.
- Turn the pocket bags to the inside, align them, and stitch together.
- Secure the short ends of the Welt to the front panel seam, stitching through the welt ends into the seam at the line of topstitching.
Front Yoke & Shoulder Assembly
- Stitch the Yoke to the Front panel.
- Press seam allowances toward the Yoke.
- Topstitch along the seam.
- Stitch the shoulder seams.
Collar, Collar Stand & Facings
- Stitch the Stand Collars to the collars and topstitch the seams.
- Stitch the Back Neckline Facing to the Center Front Facings.
- Set the Lower Collar into the neckline of the main garment, right sides together.
- Set the Upper Collar into the neckline of the Back Neckline Facing and Center Front Facings.
- Place the Upper Collar combined with the facing right sides together onto the garment and stitch along the front edges and collar.
- Turn right side out and press carefully.
- Secure the raw edges of the Upper and Lower Collars together along the neckline by hand.
Sleeves & Cuffs
- Stitch the sleeve seams. Topstitch the elbow seam.
- Stitch the short ends of the Cuffs.
- Place each Cuff right sides together, stitch along the lower edge, turn right side out, and press.
- Place the Cuffs onto the sleeve ends right sides together and stitch, attaching the upper cuff edge to the sleeve.
- Topstitch the cuffs around the entire perimeter.
Setting Sleeves
Set the sleeves into the armholes, matching notches.
Lining Assembly and Attachment
- Sew the lining pieces together, leaving an opening of approximately 20 cm in the elbow seam of one sleeve.
- Place the lining and the outer garment right sides together, aligning the center back lines and shoulder seams.
- Stitch the lining to the outer garment along the front facings and the neckline opening.
- Attach the lining to the hem allowance of the jacket and to the sleeve hems.
- Turn the garment right side out through the opening left in the sleeve seam.
- Close the opening with a machine stitch or neat hand stitch.
Finishing
- Work four buttonholes on the left front.
- Sew four buttons on the right front.
- Give a final press — ensuring sharp collar edges, flat facings, and crisp hem.
