• FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING:

ATTENTION: The FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL pieces from the LINING are cut with the width of the FRONT FACINGS and BACK NECK FACING deducted, respectively.

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the respective pieces. On the FRONT PANEL, along the COLLAR attachment edge, apply a 1 cm wide GRAIN LINE strip (from FUSIBLE INTERFACING).
2. Mark the darts on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Cut the FRONT PANEL along the SIDE PANEL attachment line. Stitch and press the darts on the BACK PANEL towards the center. Stitch the bust dart on the FRONT PANEL and trim the bulk. Press open the bust dart. Attach the cut-out SIDE PANEL to the FRONT PANEL. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCE downwards.
3. Stitch and press open the princess seams on the BACK PANEL. Stitch and press open the center back seam.
4. Attach the BACK SLEEVE pieces to the BACK PANEL. Attach the FRONT SLEEVE pieces to the FRONT PANELS. Press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
5. Stitch the shoulder seams and upper SLEEVE edges. Press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Insert shoulder pads. Stitch the lower SLEEVE edges and side seams in one continuous line. Press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
6. Place the COLLAR pieces right sides together. Stitch the outer edge of the COLLAR. Trim the SEAM ALLOWANCE. Turn the COLLAR right side out and press. Attach the COLLAR to the jacket. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCE.
7. Stitch and press open the shoulder seams of the BACK NECK FACING and FRONT FACING. Attach the BACK HEM FACING to the FRONT FACING. Press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
8. On the LINING fabric pieces, stitch the seams and set in the SLEEVES, leaving an opening for turning in the lower left SLEEVE seam. Attach the LINING to the inner edges of the FRONT FACINGS and FACINGS.
9. Place the FRONT FACING with its FACING on the right side of the FRONT PANEL, right side down, pin, and stitch the front edge, FRONT PANEL neckline, BACK PANEL neckline, and bottom of the jacket. The stitching is done from the FRONT PANEL side. Topstitch the SEAM ALLOWANCE of the front edge to the FRONT FACING. Position the stitching 0.2 cm from the seam.
10. Stitch the SLEEVE hem FACINGS from the upper edge to the NOTCH and the short edges. Press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Finish the vent and the SLEEVE hem. Turn the FACING right side out and press.
11. Attach the LINING to the SLEEVE FACING. Turn the jacket right side out. Stitch the technological opening closed.
12. On the FRONT PANELS, make a buttonhole according to the button size, sew a decorative button on the left FRONT PANEL. On the wrong side of the right FRONT PANEL, sew a small button.
