Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the upper center and side BACK PANELs to the corresponding lower parts, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and serge. Topstitch with a double decorative stitch 0.1 cm and 0.7 cm from the seam. Stitch the princess seams of the BACK PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center, serge. Topstitch with a double decorative stitch 0.1 cm and 0.7 cm from the seam.
- Serge the center edges of the BACK PANEL. Stitch the center seam of the BACK PANEL from the top to the slit NOTCH. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES at the NOTCH. Press the upper part to the left side, press the slit. Topstitch with a double decorative stitch 0.1 cm and 0.7 cm from the seam from the top to the slit, stop the stitching and continue on the left side of the slit. Topstitch the right side of the slit 0.1 cm from the edge.
- Serge the center edges of the center lower FRONT SKIRT HALFs together with the integrated FACINGs. Stitch the center seam of the FRONT SKIRT HALF from the bottom to the start of the fly, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the right side seam. Topstitch with a double decorative stitch 0.1 cm and 0.7 cm from the seam.
- Press the fly on the right lower center FRONT PANEL to the wrong side. On the left part, press the SEAM ALLOWANCE by 1 cm, leaving a step. Stitch the ZIPPER to the left side at the edge, placing the teeth close to the fold. Serge the longitudinal and lower edges of the fly underlap. Place the unfolded fly underlap under the edge of the ZIPPER SEAM ALLOWANCE on the left side and topstitch the FACING to the fly underlap close to the ZIPPER attachment seam. Lay out the FRONT SKIRT HALF, straighten the ZIPPER edge. Align the center front lines and baste. Stitch the free ZIPPER tape to the integrated FACING of the right half, without catching the FRONT SKIRT HALF.
- Serge the center edges of the center upper FRONT SKIRT HALFs. Stitch the center and side upper FRONT PANELs to the corresponding lower parts, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and serge. Topstitch with a double decorative stitch 0.1 cm and 0.7 cm from the seam. Stitch the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center, serge. Topstitch with a double decorative stitch 0.1 cm and 0.7 cm from the seam.
- Stitch the side seams of the skirt. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK SKIRT HALF, serge.
- Stitch the side seams of the FACINGs. Press seams open. Serge the outer edge of the FACING. Stitch the FACING to the integrated FRONT FACINGs. Fold the FACING right sides together with the skirt and stitch the upper edge. Trim SEAM ALLOWANCES at the corners, turn the FACING to the wrong side.
- Topstitch the right FRONT SKIRT HALF along the ZIPPER according to the marking, stopping 3 cm before the lower end of the ZIPPER. Close the ZIPPER and extend the decorative stitching with a curve at the end of the ZIPPER, catching the fly underlap. Topstitch with a double decorative stitch 0.1 cm and 0.7 cm from the upper edge of the skirt.
- Serge the hem allowance of the skirt, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Serge one side (long) of the belt loop. Fold the un-serged edge inwards and cover with the serged edge. Topstitch two parallel stitches 0.1 cm from the edge. Cut the belt loops. Stitch the belt loops to the princess seams according to the marking.
- On the fly, serge buttonholes, and accordingly sew buttons onto the fly underlap.
