• From LINING fabric:
1. BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
2. FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY

Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch the pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch the darts on the BACK PANEL, press the depths towards the center. Fold and secure the pleats on the FRONT PANEL. The depths are directed towards the center of the FRONT PANEL.
2. Serge the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL from the ZIPPER mark to the bottom. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open, pressing the slit. Insert the ZIPPER.
3. Stitch the shoulder seams of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Stitch the shoulder seams of the LINING BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL, press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Serge the bottom edges of the LINING BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL and the center back seam of the BACK PANEL.
4. Place the LINING with the main garment right sides together and stitch the neckline edge. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES at the curves. Turn right side out, press. Secure the LINING to the main garment along the princess seams and armholes. Fold under the center back seam of the LINING BACK PANEL and secure it to the ZIPPER tape.
5. Stitch the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL, clip the FRONT PANEL at the corner and stitch the underarm seam. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the side seam, and upwards on the underarm seam. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the princess seams of the BACK PANEL, clip the BACK PANEL at the corner and stitch the underarm seam. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the side seam, and upwards on the underarm seam. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
6. Stitch the side seams of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
7. Stitch the SLEEVE seams. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES and serge.
8. Set the SLEEVES into the armholes, matching the NOTCHES. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES and serge.
9. Serge the bottom edge of the garment and the bottom edge of the SLEEVE. Fold to the wrong side, press and topstitch.
