Cutter's Must

From main fabric:
1. Yoke - 2 pieces
2. Middle skirt - 2 pieces on fold
3. Lower skirt – 2 pieces on fold
4. Waistband – 1 piece

Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are sewn with a special elastic stitch or immediately sewn on a 3- or 4-thread overlock. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity.

Sewing Instructions

Along the upper edges of the middle and lower skirt parts, lay a stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather. Attach the middle to the yoke with an overlock machine. Press the seam. Attach the lower skirt to the middle with an overlock machine. Press the seam.
Stitch the side edges with an overlock machine. Press the seam allowances towards the back.
Stitch the waistband into a ring. Fold lengthwise in half and press. Insert elastic into the waistband and attach to the yoke, positioning the waistband seam at the left side seam.
Overlock the bottom of the skirt, fold up and topstitch.
