CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
    • BACK PANEL center – 2 QTY
    • BACK PANEL side – 2 QTY
    • FRONT PANEL center - 2 QTY
    • FRONT PANEL side – 2 QTY
    • FACING – 2 QTY
    • TRIM STRIP – 2 QTY
  • From LINING fabric:
    • BACK PANEL center – 2 QTY
    • BACK PANEL side – 2 QTY
    • FRONT PANEL LINING - 2 QTY
    • FRONT PANEL side – 2 QTY
  • LINING pieces are cut according to the main pieces (except FRONT PANEL LINING)
  • FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: FACING.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the FACING.
  2. Stitch the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL. Press seams towards the center of the FRONT PANEL.
  3. Fold the TRIM STRIP in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the long side and one short side. Turn the TRIM STRIP right side out, trimming corners, and press.
  4. Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Press seam to the left side. Stitch the princess seams of the BACK PANEL, inserting the TRIM STRIP according to markings. Press seams towards the center of the BACK PANEL.
  5. Stitch shoulder and side seams. Press seams towards the BACK PANEL.
  6. Stitch LINING pieces, similar to the main pieces, leaving an opening in the left side seam. Attach the LINING to the FACINGS. Place the garment with LINING right sides together and stitch along the front edge, neckline, and hem.
  7. Stitch the armhole in 2 steps: the BACK PANEL armhole from the shoulder seam to the side seam, and the FRONT PANEL armhole from the shoulder seam to the side seam through the opening in the side seam. Close the opening.
  8. On the right FRONT PANEL, make buttonholes; on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on buttons.
