Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the front FACING, back neckline FACING, and armhole FACINGs for the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL.
2. Stitch the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press them towards the center on the FRONT PANEL, and towards the center on the BACK PANEL.
3. Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press them to the left side.
4. Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press them towards the BACK PANEL.
5. Stitch the COLLAR seam on the FRONT PANEL and front FACING pieces. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
6. Attach the COLLAR to the back neckline, clipping the corners on the FRONT PANEL pieces. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open, clipping at the curves. Stitch the shoulder seams of the back neckline FACING and front FACING. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Attach the COLLAR to the back FACING neckline, clipping the front FACING at the corners. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open, clipping at the curves. Overcast the outer edges of the front FACINGs and back FACING.
7. Place the front FACING on the right side of the FRONT PANEL, right side down, and stitch the front edge and COLLAR of the garment. Topstitch the SEAM ALLOWANCE of the front edge to the front FACING. The stitching should be 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the front edges to the right side, straighten the seams. Secure the FACING and BACK PANEL SEAM ALLOWANCES, 0.1 cm from the COLLAR attachment seam. Attach the FACING to the shoulder and center seam with hand stitches.
8. Overcast and press up the hem allowance of the garment. Stitch the bottom corner of the front edge and topstitch the allowance to the garment.
9. Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the armhole FACINGs. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Overcast the outer SEAM ALLOWANCES all around. Place the FACING on the right side of the garment, right side down, and stitch the armhole. Clip the armhole SEAM ALLOWANCE and topstitch it to the FACING. Attach the FACING to the shoulder and side seam with hand stitches.
10. On the right FRONT PANEL, overcast the buttonholes; on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on the buttons.
11. Fold the belt piece in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the long and one short side. Turn the belt to the right side, turn in the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the unstitched section, and secure by hand. Attach the belt to the left side seam.
