CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. Upper FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
  • 2. Middle FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
  • 3. Lower FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
  • 4. Upper BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 5. Middle BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 6. Lower BACK PANEL – 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Mark and stitch darts on FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL pieces. Press bust darts downwards, waist darts towards the center.
  2. Stitch shoulder seams. Overlock seams and press towards the BACK PANEL.
  3. Overlock armhole edges, fold inwards and topstitch.
  4. Cut a BIAS BINDING 4 cm wide and equal to the neckline length. Fold the BIAS BINDING in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the TRIM STRIP with the neckline edge on the right side and FACE, fold the TRIM STRIP to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
  5. Stitch the upper and middle parts of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Stitch side seams. Overlock seams and press towards the BACK PANEL. Overlock the seam joining the upper and middle parts, simultaneously overlocking the armhole section from the side seam. Press the seam downwards and topstitch at 0.1 cm.
  6. Overlock the center edges of the BACK PANEL. Insert the ZIPPER from the upper edge to the mark. Stitch the center edges from the ZIPPER downwards. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
  7. Stitch the side seam on the lower parts of the dress. Overlock the seam and press towards the BACK PANEL. Attach the lower FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL to the dress. Overlock seams and press downwards.
  8. Overlock the bottom edge of the dress. Fold inwards and topstitch.
