Sewing Instructions
- Stitch darts on the front. Press seam allowances upwards.
- Cut a bias binding strip from the main fabric, 4 cm wide and twice the length of the slit on the front. Press the strip in half lengthwise, unfold, and press the longitudinal edges towards the marked line. Cut the slit on the front and bind it with the prepared bias binding.
- Overlock all edges of the patch pocket, except the bottom one. Press the pocket opening edges to the wrong side and topstitch with a double stitch 0.1 cm and 0.7 cm from the edge. Press the top and side edges to the wrong side, place on the front according to markings, and topstitch with a double stitch 0.1 cm and 0.7 cm from the edge.
- Stitch the back parts of the sleeves to the back. Stitch the front parts of the sleeves to the front. Press seam allowances open and topstitch.
- Stitch the upper edges of the sleeves. Press seam allowances open. Stitch the lower edges of the sleeves and the side edges in one continuous seam. Press seam allowances open.
- Stitch the hood pieces in pairs. On the lower hood, press the stitching seam open and topstitch from both sides at 0.7 cm. On the upper hood, press the seam allowances open. Place the hood pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer contour, starting and ending the stitch strictly at the marked hood attachment line. Turn the hood right side out, straighten the seam, and press.
- Attach the lower hood to the neckline, turn under the lower open edge of the upper hood, and topstitch into the attachment seam. Stitch a decorative topstitch along the edge of the hood at 0.7 cm.
- Press the seam allowance of the bottom edge of the garment and the sleeve to the wrong side, turn inwards by 0.5 cm, and topstitch.
