1. BACK PANEL neckline FACING – 1 QTY
2. Underlap – 2 QTY

ATTENTION: The FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL LINING pieces are cut without considering the width of the underlaps and the BACK PANEL neckline FACING, respectively. Before fusing artificial fur pieces, test on a scrap piece.

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse the COLLAR, underlaps, and BACK PANEL neckline FACING with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
2. Stitch the bust dart on the FRONT PANEL pieces. Trim the dart depth and press open.
3. Stitch the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL up to the NOTCH. Press seams open.
4. Place the underlap on the right side of the FRONT PANEL, face down, and stitch along the edge. Stitching is done from the FRONT PANEL side up to the NOTCH, which defines the end of the COLLAR attachment. Stitch the lower edges of the underlaps to the FRONT PANEL strictly along the marked hemline. Trim the seams of the upper and lower corners of the edge. Turn the edges to the right side, straighten the seams.
5. Stitch the shoulder seams. Press seams open.
6. Fold the COLLAR pieces together, right sides in. Stitch the ends and the outer edge of the COLLAR, starting and ending the stitching strictly at the marked COLLAR attachment seam line. Trim the seam. Turn the COLLAR out and press.
7. Stitch the shoulder seams of the BACK PANEL neckline FACING and the underlap. Press seams open.
8. Insert the COLLAR between the cape and the underlap and FACING. Stitch the upper COLLAR into the cape neckline, the lower COLLAR into the underlap and FACING neckline. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Turn the underlaps and FACING to the wrong side and stitch the COLLAR attachment SEAM ALLOWANCES close to the seams.
9. Press the hem of the garment. Sew the hem with blind stitches.
10. Stitch the LINING pieces. Fold the LINING with the cape, right sides together, and stitch to the inner edges of the underlaps and the BACK PANEL neckline FACING, stepping back 10 cm from the hemline. Stitch the LINING to the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL slits. Align the LINING hemline relative to the cape hemline. Fold the LINING hem twice and topstitch. Stitch the remaining section of the LINING to the underlap. Attach the slit SEAM ALLOWANCES to the main pieces using hand stitches or FUSIBLE INTERFACING web.
11. On the right FRONT PANEL, make buttonholes; on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on buttons.
