Sewing Instructions
- Stitch darts on the upper BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. On the BACK PANEL, press towards the center; on the FRONT PANEL, press downwards.
- Attach the middle FRONT PANEL to the upper part. Overcast the seam and press downwards.
- Stitch darts on the FRONT FACING. Press them downwards. Place the FACING and FRONT PANEL right sides together and stitch the neckline corner and the neckline from the dart upwards, stopping a few centimeters before the shoulder seam. Clip the corner, turn to the right side.
- Stitch the front middle edge from the dart downwards. Press the seam open. Stitch the middle edge of the FACING. Press the seam open.
- Attach the left SIDE PANEL of the FRONT SKIRT HALF to the middle part of the FRONT SKIRT HALF. Overcast the seam and press towards the side panel. Attach the right SIDE PANEL of the FRONT SKIRT HALF to the middle part of the FRONT SKIRT HALF. Overcast the seam and press towards the side panel.
- Attach the upper FRONT PANEL to the lower skirt halves. Overcast the seam, press upwards, and topstitch.
- Stitch the middle edges of the upper BACK PANELs. Press the seam to the left side and overcast.
- Attach the left SIDE PANEL of the BACK SKIRT HALF to the middle part of the BACK SKIRT HALF. Overcast the seam and press towards the side panel. Attach the right SIDE PANEL of the BACK SKIRT HALF to the middle part of the BACK SKIRT HALF. Overcast the seam and press towards the side panel.
- Attach the upper BACK PANEL to the lower skirt halves. Overcast the seam and press upwards.
- Stitch the left side edge from the ZIPPER mark downwards. Press the seam open, pressing the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the opening for the fastener, and overcast. Place the ZIPPER under the opening and stitch.
- Stitch the right side and shoulder edges. Press the shoulder seams open, and press the side seam towards the BACK PANEL and overcast.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams of the FACINGS. Press the seams open. Place the FACINGS with the upper parts and stitch the BACK PANEL neckline and the unstitched section of the FRONT PANEL neckline. Stitch the armhole in two steps: first the upper edge of the armhole, then the lower edge of the armhole. Topstitch the SEAM ALLOWANCE to the FACING 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the FACING to the wrong side and press. Attach the middle edge of the FACING to the ZIPPER allowance.
- Press the hem of the garment to the wrong side, fold, and topstitch.
