Cutting Plan

• Back – 2 pieces
• Front – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

1. Mark and stitch the waist darts on the back. Press the darts towards the center back.
2. Serge/Finish the center back raw edge. Stitch the center back seam up to the notch for the zipper. Press the center back seam open, pressing the zipper allowances. Insert the zipper.
3. Stitch the shoulder seams of the back and front. Serge/Finish the seams and press them towards the back.
4. Press the bias binding in half lengthwise and bind/finish the neckline and armhole. The front is bound up to the side seam. Turn under the ends of the bias binding on the back and secure by hand.
5. Serge/Finish the seams on the front in the section between the notches. Clip the seam at the notch, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Stitch the left front from the notch to the side seam. Serge/Finish the seam and press upwards. Thread the right front through the resulting opening and stitch the seam in the same way.
6. Stitch the side seams of the top. Serge/Finish the side seams, press them towards the back.
7. Serge/Finish the bottom edge of the back, fold to the wrong side, press and topstitch.
