CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. Right BACK PANEL – QTY 1
  • 2. Left BACK PANEL – QTY 1
  • 3. FRONT PANEL – QTY 1
  • 4. Back FLOUNCE – QTY 1
  • 5. Right front FLOUNCE – QTY 1
  • 6. Left front FLOUNCE – QTY 1
  • 7. FLOUNCE – QTY 4

Sewing Instructions

  1. Mark and stitch bust darts. Press bust darts downwards.
  2. Mark and stitch waist darts on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Press darts on the FRONT PANEL towards the center front, and on the BACK PANEL towards the center back.
  3. Overlock the center edge of the right and left front FLOUNCE. Press the overlocked edge to the wrong side and topstitch 0.5 cm from the edge. Overlap the FLOUNCES according to the NOTCHES and secure the upper edge of the FLOUNCES between the NOTCHES.
  4. Attach the front FLOUNCES to the FRONT PANEL, overlock the attachment seam and press towards the FRONT PANEL.
  5. Overlock the center back edge. Stitch the center back seam up to the NOTCH for the ZIPPER. Press open the center back seam, pressing the allowances for the ZIPPER.
  6. Attach the FLOUNCE to the BACK PANEL, overlock the attachment seam and press towards the BACK PANEL.
  7. Stitch the side edges of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Overlock the side seams and press towards the BACK PANEL.
  8. Stitch the side edges of the FLOUNCES, overlock the seam and press. Overlock the outer and side edges of the FLOUNCE with a rolled hem.
  9. Put on the dress, adjust the length of the FLOUNCE and measure the strap length. Baste the FLOUNCE to the neckline edge of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL according to the technical drawing.
  10. Fold the BIAS BINDING in half and press. Bind the armhole edge of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL with BIAS BINDING. Bind with BIAS BINDING: the neckline edge of the BACK PANEL, the inner edge of the FLOUNCE, and the neckline edge of the FRONT PANEL. From the extension of the BIAS BINDING, stitch the strap and attach it to the BACK PANEL.
  11. Insert the ZIPPER.
  12. Overlock the lower edge of the FLOUNCES, press and topstitch 0.5 cm from the edge.
